Focus Groups

The Board of Capricorn Enterprise has endorsed the establishment of strategic Focus Groups to ensure that the key objectives of the Organisation are advanced. Consultation and connectivity to the broader community is important – hence the involvement of industry, business and community leaders in these Groups.

The Infrastructure and Investment Focus Group held its first meeting in June. Comprising representations for Local Government, CQUniversity, Government and Industry the Group will develop strategies associated with regional infrastructure requirements plus the identification of investment opportunities.

It is intended that an additional three Focus Groups will be established during the second half of 2011 – covering the areas of Retail, Skills and Accessibility.
