Objectives
LaunchPad has four main objectives:
- Provide a Network of influence and support for current members residing in the Region and prospective members moving to the Region and where members are provided access to key business, educational, community, social and political leaders in the Region.
- Be a social catalyst for current and prospective members to interact through the organisation of events, functions and promotions and the creation of central points where members can meet on an informal recreational basis.
- Be a learning and development catalyst where members will be provided opportunities to acquire new skills and knowledge through access to educational and training programs developed in conjunction with affiliated partners.
- Provide a platform for the organisation and its members to develop public policy positions on issues critical to the growth and development of the Region and to be able to lobby all levels of Government for action and reform in the best interests of the Region. There is a strict policy that the organisation maintains a non political position.
