The latest in the series covers Economic Development and Industry and presents the opportunities available to those looking at investing, building or doing business in the region. The video also showcases health and essential services, education facilities, range of industries and population growth the Capricorn region has been enjoying in recent years.
The second video covers Events and Conferencing in Capricorn, showcasing the region’s ability to successfully host major events, and to uphold its reputation as QLD’s Region Events Capital. Presenting viewers with an overview of the facilities, warm hospitality, service and convenience that can be enjoyed when hosting an event in region, the video also covers events including Beef Australia, Motormania CQ, Gemfest, Village Festival of Arts & Music, Brisbane to Keppel Yacht Race, Golfing ProAms, and a variety of sporting events.
The third video is a destination dvd, showcasing the multitude of tourism experiences, destinations and activities available in the region and features Creek to Coast host Kimberley Busteed as she travels through Capricorn.
The destination dvds will be featured on the web, showcased at major trade and travel expos, in information packs for consumers and investors, played at CTEDL’s 5 Visitor Information Centres and will be made available to all members for use in their promotions.
