If you are passionate about your community, come along to one of 11 community-based Rockhampton Regional Council Social Plan sessions held throughout March.
The Social Plan will guide the types of community programs and services to be provided by Council over the next 5 years. These sessions will consider strategies and resources required for social service delivery and community development across the Region.
Chair of Community Development and Customer Service Committee, Cr Rose Swadling would like to encourage enthusiastic members of the community to attend.
“If you are interested in community safety and wellbeing, community groups and associations, or access to social services and support, I urge you to attend,” Cr Swadling said.
“These sessions are not about roads, rubbish or rates, they are about building a better community for our family and friends.”
